I earned my Ph.D. from the University of Genoa, and I held postdoctoral positions at the University of Padua and L'Aquila. I have been a visiting scholar at Columbia University, the University of Sheffield, and LOGOS at University of Barcelona.

I have published papers on the metaphysics of persistence and personal identity and authored two books, "Piccola Guida Filosofica all'Identità Personale" (Laterza, 2023) and "The Simplicity of Identity" (Padova University Press, 2025). I am currently working on personal identity in the virtual world, the extended mind, and counterpart relation.

In between academic research, I obtained a permanent teaching position in the Italian high school system, since it seems I cannot do any other work outside reading, teaching, and writing. Nonetheless, given that I am an optimist, I've tried construction, farming, and fathering.
